About The Weeny Weeds

Welcome to The Weeny Weeds!

We are a startup founded by bio-obsessed high school students and food science enthusiasts who care about changing the way food impacts children’s health.

​

We started after noticing the rise of chronic diet-related diseases across all socioeconomic groups. In some communities, it comes from highly processed diets. In others, it comes from a lack of access to nutritious food. Different causes, same result.

Weeny Weeds aims to address both. We create nutrient-rich alternatives in our community, and through our collaboration with FOCUS Bangalore, we help support children in Shikaripalya with better access to nutrition.

We are still learning, but we believe small, science-driven efforts can create meaningful change.
